Studies show that young learners read more when they have a strong support system at school and home. More than simple one-on-one reading comprehension programs, literacy programs involve meaningful discussion of assigned texts. Families are also guided to make reading a part of their day-to-day routine without intruding or feeling like boring old homework. This develops not only the learner’s reading skills but emotional and intellectual development, and strengthens family bonds.

Reading Specialist Assistance For learners diagnosed with processing conditions (ADD, ADHD, etc)

Addresses reading and comprehension difficulty and tailors a family literacy program to best support learners who need special assistance with literacy. This is best done in tandem with a certified psychologist, referrals available.
