Human first for human-centered work.

Mia Marci writes by hand, teaches writing by hand, and is working towards a place in a world where robots and humans live side by side.

Mia writes for the page and for the screen.

She writes, rewrites, organizes, reads, researches, then get into meetings to say why she wrote it that way.

She currently works as a UX writer and content designer. She is part of a dynamic team of user researchers and designers where she goes from persona research to designing with UX copy. She is also the keeper of the style guide and always on the lookout for the most effective way to refine and document copy and copywriting systems as the company evolves.

Mia has also written advertising copy and branded content (fastfood, f&b, retail, lifestyle) and lifestyle features.

Mia lends real world experience to the classroom.

She is a learning designer with work is in English as a Second Language, Creative Writing, and literacy.

She has a background in distance learning and educational technology, having been an online learner since 2015. Most of her learning design work is confidential, but we can sit down for a chat about it. She can also create programs and workflows for effective hybrid workplaces.
