Human first for human-centered work.

Mia Marci writes by hand, teaches writing by hand, and is working for a say in a world where robots and humans live side by side.

I write for the page and for the screen.

Which means I write, rewrite, reorganize, read, research, then get into meetings explaining why I wrote it that way, and try to make it better.

I currently work as a UX writer for a telco company. As a UX writer I am part of user and persona research and write with the user journey in mind. I am also the keeper of the style guide and am always on the lookout for the most effective way to document and refine copy as the company evolves.

I’ve written for print and was there when pages turned into screens.
I’ve done advertising copywriting and branded content (fastfood, f&b, retail, lifestyle) and lifestyle features. I’ve been published online and in traditional print media. You can read work that I’m proud of at my portfolio.

Yappy fangirl turned teacher.

As a learning designer, most of my work is in English as a Second Language, Creative Writing, and literacy.

I have a unique background in distance learning and educational technology, having been an online learner since 2015. Most of my learning design work is confidential, but we can sit down for a chat about it. I can also create programs and workflows for the workplace.
